The Misty Fjord was proclaimed a national monument by President Carter in 1978.  This should be on the bucket list of everyone because it is just that beautiful.  I have hundreds of pictures of all the areas and walker Cove is one of my favorites.  Most people don't realize that within this national treasure is one of the largest molybdenum deposits in the world.
