Daisies and Xtratuf Boots
I know that people "down south" meaning any place south of Ketchikan really don't get the Alaskan love for the Xtratuf Boots, but before the 1960's (ish) they were not available and we had to put up with rubber boots that split out in the cold and got holes in them from sliding on barnacles and the rocks here. Once these boots came on the scene we were golden. Hop out of the boat, no problem, wade a creek, done, walk on rocks. got it.
We are happy to use them for everything, and when they get too old, turn them into a vase.
This piece looks great in the Bright Cheerful Remarque. Green is ok too.
