The mother humpback whales work very hard to get their newborn babies up to Alaska to show them off. The babies just romp and play and are curious about everything around them. Often you can see the babies straying too far and the mom will raise her fin and SLAP the water. This is something like my mom yelling MAIDA JOYCE KELLEY ... GET BACK HERE!!!!!
This is such a great piece, it looks great in all the colors. If I remarque it I make the tip of the fin go off onto the mat and extend the water. Not a lot but it is effective.
