CONFETTI STARFISH
The lowly starfish, or sea star, has a huge impact on the health of our oceans. A few years ago a big hot blob of water was generated in the gulf of Alaska and made its way down the entire coast. It killed a lot of starfish. The starfish feed on the small red sea urchin. The small sea urchin feed on the foot of the kelp plant, the part that holds it in place. The kelp floated away and the rockfish had no place to hide. Rockfish is the one thing a person can be certain of catching if they are hungry and have no food. Isn't it funny how all the things work together.
This is part of the confetti series, it looks great with the remarque but also in white and gray.
