CONFETTI HERRING
The herring was the first painting I did in the confetti series. I was thawing some herring on my kitchen island and as I walked by the light glances off the scales and WHAM BAM I was in right brain grabbing my brushes and paint. The counter is blue hence the background and the iridescence was intense. I was painting the series for a month and had a great time. You never know when the muse is going to strike.
I love this series and it looks great with the remarque especially with others in the series. However it looks good in the white and gray mats too.
