Boot Full of Berries
One of the great joys of living in Ketchikan is the over abundance of berries out in "the woods".  In the summertime we harvest many sorts of berries and save them to enjoy when friends come to visit.  It is always a good idea to wear your boots when you go picking because you never know where you will have to step in this temperate rain forest.
Just to be clear, this is not a real style of boot, at least as far as I know but isn't it grand and doesn't it make you think of summer?
